Our History

Hotel 55 London first opened in 2002 with 25 bedrooms. This Edwardian building got a complete facelift in 2016 and became a chic, stylish, colorful and elegant boutique hotel you see now. We have since the opening added four extra suites, two outside in the garden offering complete peace and privacy.

We aim to make everyone feel at home by creating a warm atmosphere and offering a high standard but friendly service from the first moment you step into our hotel until you check out.

Our welcoming and knowledgeable staff members are always ready to help you with all your requests to ensure you are having a great time in London. A good night’s sleep is guaranteed by our comfortable, memory foam mattresses and there is no better way to kick off a productive day than having a bountiful continental breakfast we include in our room rates. we pride ourselves in catering for all dietary requirements, let it be vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free.

We take sustainability very seriously. Operating on an environment-friendly way is our ultimate goal and tirelessly work to preserve our environment. There are energy saver light bulbs all around the building and most rooms are equipped with key card wall slots for power, so no lights are on when not necessary. Most of our waste is recycled while what cannot be, we make sure it does not go to landfill.

We use biodegradable bin liners in our rooms and our cleaning materials are all planet conscious to make sure our grandchildren get to enjoy this beautiful world we are lucky to live on.

Hotel 55 and all of its staff are also dedicated to make visiting London happen for everyone. We have two fully accessible rooms with large showers and signaling system, so our guests with a wheelchair can enjoy their time in London with no inconvenience back at their base.

We are also keen supporters of LGBTQ communities, happy to help to find the most suitable events and places in and around London to create a truly fun and memorable itinerary for your visit to London.

Every day, when we wake up and get to work, we have one goal; to make everyone feel relaxed and enjoy their time at Hotel 55. As we are conveniently located right next to North Ealing tube station on Piccadilly line in a warm and quiet neighborhood.
